University will not require ACT or SAT scores for fall 2022 admissions

University admissions will not require fall 2022 undergraduate applicants to submit SAT or ACT scores due to COVID-19 related testing limitations, according to a statement released on the Texas Admissions website.
In the statement, University admissions announced that high school students applying to UT for undergraduate admissions will not be required to submit ACT or SAT scores to ensure that COVID-19 related limitations do not affect a student’s ability to apply.
In June 2020, the University announced that students who applied for fall 2021 undergraduate admission would not be required to submit an ACT or SAT test score as part of their application. The June 2020 announcement said the test requirement would be reinstated for fall 2022 freshman admissions, but the University would reevaluate if there was a continued disruption to standardized testing accessibility. ....
