The governor, Terry Mccaauliffe said that a 32yearold female was killed by Police Killed excuse me. By the driver of that car. Police are calling this a criminal homicide investigation. A male driver plowed into this group of counterprotesters. They were targeted. Nine others were injured. The hospital says five in Critical Condition and four in serious condition. Police tell nbc news that the driver of the vehicle that caused the womans death then fled the scene but is now in custody. As you see with this video, the car without braking mowe
you know what? we re not letting these people invade our country. invade. invasion. the very language that was in the screed written by this killer in el paso. joining us now is anthony scaramucci, author of trump: the blue collar president. thank you for being with us this morning. i can tell you ve been doing thinking over the weekend about all of this. these are issues facing the country right now. i know you ve been struggling with them as well. issues of hate and issues of gun violence. if we can, i would like to separate the two in our discussion this morning a little bit. first to the president s speech this morning. we just heard former governor terry mccaauliffe say the president should apologize to the nation for some of the language he has used and the language that appeared in that killer s screed in el paso. is there any chance of that in your mind? well, you know, i don t think the president s going to apologize. he spent 40 or 50 years with a strategy of never apol
would be no need to use this sort of rhetoric. we should see what happens in the speech he s basically an emperor without clothing right now. and what terry mccaauliffe said right now is true. he could get something done on gun control laws. you have a different position than the president has on guns and the republican party has and you ve held that position for a long time. we ll come to that. but on the language, it was interesting. you were describing the threat that language can pose. there s a phrase for that that has developed over the last few years. stochastic terror that no one ordered this person to go commit the terror attack, but over time statistically speaking, attacks will happen if people in power, if people who have a megaphone use this language because these evil people will use it as an excuse. do you see that happening here?

gubernatorial election. a close race, terry mccaauliffe won. ken cuccinelli did fine, but he was not competitive at all in the washington suburbs. go back to the last time republicans won state-wide was bob mcdonnell when he won the governor s race in 2009. notice the difference. see how competitive he is up here? terry mcauliffe ran through the suburbs. bob mcdonnell was competitive. we see it in presidential races as well. if you go to the 2016 race, in a very close national election, hillary clinton won quite comfortably here in the state of virginia. why? because even though donald trump did fine down here where ed gillespie has to do well tonight, hillary clinton ran it up in the washington suburbs. this is the story of virginia in the last 17 years. the washington suburbs. look at the voter registration growth. up 37%. up 27%. up 132% in the formally republican, now blue landing louden county. prince william county up 72%. if ed gillespie is going to have a chance tonight, he s g
