Looking for a way to benefit the community and showcase some of Huron County’s beauty, the Summer Kickoff Walkathon scheduled for May 22 was formed.
“The proceeds are going to the new skating rink in Port Austin,” organizer Jim Roland said. “We wanted to do something nice for Port Austin. The smaller rink they put in at Gallup Park was a huge hit.” ....
