Kota Kinabalu: Firm action should be taken against the squatters around Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) who contributed to the institution’s water woes, said Sabah Housing and Town Development Board (LPPB) Chairman Datuk Masing Banah.
Kota Kinabalu: The State Government has reason to believe that up to 60pc of Non-Revenue Water (NRW) in Sabah – the nation’s highest – involves water theft by plantations and factories rather than leaking old pipes.
CHIEF Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said a RM4 billion Hydroelectric Dam will be built at Ulu Padas in Tenom as a long-term solution to the water shortage in Sabah.
PAPAR: Sabah’s longstanding water supply problem is expected to be resolved through the Ulu Padas Dam in Tenom costing RM4 billion, work on which is scheduled to start in October and to be completed in 2027.
