The Klang Valley made up more than half of the new cases today. 
Other states with more than 100 new cases include Sarawak, Johor, Perak, Penang and Sabah.
On the flip side, the number of active cases continued to decline as recoveries outpaced new cases.
Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah reported a total of 3,414 new recoveries today.
The number of patients in the intensive care unit is also at the lowest level since Jan 14.
Active cases: 32,076
Another six people died from Covid-19, bringing the death toll to 1,062. ....

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 22 The Health Ministry reported 2,192 new Covid-19 cases in the country over the past day, along with another six deaths.
Today’s new cases were markedly lower than the 3,297 registered yesterday.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said Selangor’s 910 made it the state with most new cases, ahead of Kuala Lumpur (303) and Sarawak (221). ....

Selangor reported the most cases, while there was a surge of infections in
Negeri Sembilan and
Penang
Of the new cases, 327 or 13.3 percent are linked to police lockups, prisons or immigration depots clusters.
Leading indicators:
Patients in ICU: 177 ↑ (7 more than the previous day, new record)
Intubated patients: 82 (unchanged from the previous day)
Deaths: 5
According to the Health Ministry, almost 76 percent of today s new patients are locals.
The ministry did not hold a press conference today. Its press conferences are typically, but not always, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The RT-PCR capacity and test numbers were unavailable today. ....

PETALING JAYA: The health ministry has reported 2,451 Covid-19 cases and five deaths in the past 24 hours.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 1,401 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 106,832.
In a statement, Noor Hisham said the total number of infections now stands at 133,559.

There are 26,185 active cases with 177 patients being treated in intensive care and 82 requiring respiratory assistance.
Meanwhile, the five deaths brings the number of fatalities to 542.
All five who died were Malaysian men, aged between 60 and 87. They all had other medical conditions. Three were from Johor while the other two were from Putrajaya and Selangor. ....
