nice and sunny, the sunshine is helping to evaporate the water and dry out of some of the hillside. p the cal tran engineers are trying to determine how far and fast that slide is progressing and once they have an idea about that, then they can look at maybe when this nightmare commute for commuters will be over. let s look at the video. be in the meantime it is more of the same for motorists, this morning is close of summit road heading south and at granite creek for those going north produced backups on secondary roadways. the mudslide is shifting sliding towards the roadway and cal tran engineers close the roadway due to safety concerns and studying the problem using sensors in the mud to see how fast the muddies moving. highway 9 was closed due to mum mudslides. san jose road, one of the detours, that s cracked due to saturation and down to one lane and they are worried if they close it all together people will be trapped here and that impact has residents worrying how wi
this is what 100,000 cubic feet of water per second looks like. it can carve up cities and towns and somewhat uncontrolled and one hundred evacuees got the news they had been waiting for. taking together the increase of the flow associated with the storms. we have concluded it is safe to reduce the israel order evacuation order in place to a warning. by sunday the lake will be more than 50 feet below the emergency spill level and armoring on the regular spillways gaining hole with rocks and will allow operators to release large and manageable amounts of water out of the dam as more rain and eventually that massive snow melt enter. and the next storm should not threaten any emergency for the spillway. everything is going on to prevent must sustain over a long period of time and the fundamental point that california has neglected infrastructure for a long time. there is still an ailing spillway and have the water coming with the storm and the humongous snow pack tha
napa high school johnny torres has been suspended from school. there is an expulsion hearing and torres testified he did nothing wrong. the most that i did was horse blay and nothing serious. he is accused of taking part in what school officials have called a football hazing ritual where some freshmen players are grabbed and touched inappropriately by older players. torres is the jv quarterback accused of holding a student down while another one touched him inappropriately through clothing. he never saw any bad behavior. and the straight astudent torres has been suspended for the past nine weeks. these past couple of weeks i have been depressed i want to see my friends again and my teachers. i miss being at school and being in the classroom and getting good grades. a school district administrator testified that a student identified only by a number implicated torres. i believe that student 34 was dragged in by several students and he was dragged in by johnny torres.
