Menon becomes the first woman to take this position in Nasscom
The National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom) has appointed Rekha M Menon as Chairperson for 2021-22, making her the first woman to this position in the association’s 30-year history.
The IT industry’s apex body has also named Krishnan Ramanujam as Vice-Chairperson for 2021-22.
Menon is the chairperson and senior managing director at Accenture in India, and Ramanujam is the President and Head of Business and Technology Services at Tata Consultancy Services, Nasscom said in a statement. ....

The National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom) appoints Rekha M. Menon as chairperson for 2021-22. She is the first woman to this position in the association’s 30-year history.
The IT industry’s apex body has also roped in Krishnan Ramanujan as its vice-chairperson for 2021-22.
In a statement, Nasscom states, Rekha is serving as the chairperson and senior managing director at Accenture in India, and Ramanujan is the President and Head of Business and Technology Services at Tata Consultancy Services.
Previsously, Rekha served as vice-chairperson of Nassscom, and she will be succeeding UB Pravin Rao, Chief Operating Officer, Infosys, who held the Chairman position for 2020-21. ....

The National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM), India s representative body of the IT/ITES industry, announced the appointment of Rekha M. Menon, Chairperson and Senior Managing Director at Accenture in India, as its chairperson for a tenure of one year (2021-22).
Rekha takes on the new role from outgoing chairperson UB Pravin Rao. She was earlier the vice chairperson of the body. She will also be the first woman to take on the role of a chairperson in the association s 30-years history. With Rekha s appointment, the top two posts of the president and the chairperson will now be held by women. ....
