A plum island home ravaged by fire. A charred shell barely standing. The bright flames sent black smoke billowing through the community this afternoon as the scene looking for flareups. Breaking tonight wildfire burning near the Larimer County Boulder County line it has grown to 25 acres in size and it is threatening homes and livestock and Russell Haythorn shows us it is 35 contained and is still burning. Believe the fire started right here with this blown transformer and neighbors and witnesses say they heard a loud pop and then it was raining down sparks the grass and underneath thh transformer it hit the hillside and took off. We heard a loud noise outside and came out and looked in the transformer was arcing it was incredibly fast. She lives within a few hundred yards.
