Hotspot for those chasing the Solar Eclipse. It crashed and burned into flames. We have live coverage tonight from the sam carlos airport the flight is said to have originated. Reporter that is right. Many of the pilots we spoke to here at the sam carlos airport did not want to talk about the crash, either because they do not have enough information, or they did not know the pilot who lost his life. We did hear some interesting theories about how this crash could have happened. On a regular races, planes and leaving this airport for oregon. Tens, if not hundreds of people going to oregon, boise, and other areas just to see 10 minutes of the eclipse. Reporter one plane and its pilot did not make it.
