Ktvu Jana Katsuyama has been monitoring this developing news. Shes live in our newsroom with more jana garcia. The News Conference started at 11 00, and the governor is still laying out his plan and talking with the press. The governor was very specific about what the problem is. He said that the revised budget is lower than his original 310 billion budget that he first proposed. This may revision is just 288 billion. He says that tax revenue came in well below the projected levels, requiring cuts and pauses in spending for programs that were originally expected. Their decision is linked to the case of an armed officer who was charged with the murder of a man. 24 year old chris kaba was unarmed when he was shot and killed in south london last year.
