The Suicide Prevention Coalition of Pueblo launches website

While there are many crisis prevention services available to the nation, Health Solutions and 31 other community partners have worked collaboratively to launch the Suicide Prevention Coalition website to help those in Pueblo.
The website officially launched Jan. 13, and Heather Pelser, suicide prevention coordinator at Health Solutions, spoke with the Chieftain about the idea behind the tool.
“Having to call Denver and trust them or people at a national level to help them we find a lot of resistance to that,” Pelser said. “We know it is important to the Pueblo community to receive help and connect people within Pueblo.”
Pelser noted that the website was built with that information in mind. ....
