AS well as celebrate the pride events happening across the town today (July 17), Taunton residents can also grab a jab . People aged 18 and over are being invited to visit a pop-up vaccination clinic at Taunton s Tourist Information Centre between 1pm and 5pm. You can drop in for your first Covid-19 vaccine or your second, as long as it has been eight weeks since your first. Dr Tim Norbury, from Taunton Vale Healthcare, will be running the clinic on Saturday. “We’ve done really well in Somerset, with high numbers of people taking the opportunity to get their Covid-19 jab so far, but we want to ensure as many people as possible take up the offer of a jab, he said.

First wave of Covid-19 vaccinations to be rolled out in Taunton, Glastonbury, Berrow and Yeovil
