Mandira Bedi didn t mince any words when trolls targetted her daughter and called her names. She gave it back to them fiercely and shutter them for once and all. On Monday, Mandira took to her Instagram Stories to share screenshots of DMs (direct messages) that she had received from some social media users who passed derogatory remarks at her daughter Tara. She adopted the toddler with her husband last year. âMadam from which slumdog centre did you adopt your prop daughter?â a user sent her on Instagram, another said, âThe adopted street kid looks completely out of placeâ¦u greedy narcissists are scarring the slumdog for life.â
Instagram worked with Hala AlAbbasi, an illustrator in Bahrain, to create these three stickers. She was inspired by her favourite aspects of Ramadan, and chose to reflect on the “beautiful moments that we share together”. In order to use these stickers, open your Instagram Story tray by swiping up while creating one, and add your favourite from the three stickers to your story.

The Guide captures all the new safety features for the parents on the platform.
On Safer Internet Day (February 9) and aligned with the global theme of 2021, âTogether for a better Internetâ, Instagram has launched a Parents Guide for India. The Guide is aimed at the safety of youngsters by informing their parents about all the safety features that exist on the platform (Instagram).
The Parents Guide is a resource from Instagram, available across many countries, to provide parents with a better understanding of the changing digital landscape.
It is meant to act as a conversation starter between the parents and their children. It provides the information about the tools that exist to keep the children safe on Instagram.

New Delhi, Feb 8 : Facebook-owned photo-sharing platform Instagram on Monday launched a Parents Guide to help young people be safe on the platform.
The guide is aimed at helping young people to be safe, by informing parents about all the safety features that exist on the platform. As the Internet permeates into our lives, especially the lives of young people, parents want to be adequately equipped with the evolving digital landscape, Tara Bedi, Public Policy and Community Outreach Manager for Instagram, India, said in a statement.
