One civilian member of the T-PDF died and another was injured on Tuesday night. A T-PDF member said five junta soldiers were killed in a clash near Pan Thar Village on Tuesday night, between 10:30 p.m. and midnight. Another 10 soldiers were killed during an attack on a military post at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday in Kun Taung Village in Tamu district, he said. ....

The mutineer from Myanmar’s military, Ko Aung Aung, was providing security for a protest camp near Kuntaung Bridge when the security forces approached at around 7.30 pm on Tuesday. “Shooting erupted and he died,” said a Tamu resident. Following the shooting, members of the Tamu Security Group, a civilian resistance group which opposes military rule, used bombs against the security forces at an India-Myanmar friendship construction site, leaving three troops dead. ....
