Officers tell me after the man tried to shoot them twice the first time the gun didnt go off they had no choice but to fire back, killing him in the front yard of the home at 3312 cherokee. Officers were here because someone called 911 for help in a domestic dispute officers killed and a woman who lives inside. The woman was not hurt. But a Tampa Police Spokesperson tell close that bullet came to the officers. More than one officer will be on paid administrative leave while the Police Department investigates.
