Wicked Local The focus of the Scituate Cohasset Newcomers and Neighbors Club is to connect all local residents - families with children, couples without children, singles, empty nesters; the club is open to everyone. “The events and programs we have offer something for everyone, whether it be a couple’s night out, a book club, fitness event, young family event, men s or ladies event, or an opportunity to give back to our community,” said Abbe Medeiros of Cohasset, one of three club presidents. The other two are Meghanne Quirk of Scituate, and Amanda Banta of Cohasset. “While Cohasset and Scituate residents make up the majority of our club, we have members from towns across the South Shore,” Banta said of the non-profit social club. “Our leadership board is entirely volunteer-based and features a dynamic mix of locals who want to connect our communities.” ....
