People attending professional baseball games should comply with COVID-19 prevention regulations, CPBL commissioner Tsai Chi-chang (蔡其昌) said yesterday, ahead of the start of the season today. Health authorities have approved the league’s plan to hold games without crowd restrictions, Tsai said. The Humanistic Education Foundation on Friday called for a thorough investigation into an incident of a seven-year-old boy who fell into a coma during judo training in Taichung last month. The Taichung City Government has launched a project to create a national “ageless” e-sports tournament, which is to be held on Nov. 28, to spotlight older gamers and to promote generational dialogue. “E-sports should become a common language that bridges the generational divide,” Taichung Sports Bureau Director Lee Yu-jui (李昱叡) told a news conference on Tuesday, adding that older gamers have the same passion as their younger peers.
