People attending professional baseball games should comply with COVID-19 prevention regulations, CPBL commissioner Tsai Chi-chang (蔡其昌) said yesterday, ahead of the start of the season today. Health authorities have approved the league’s plan to hold games without crowd restrictions, Tsai said. However, virus prevention rules would be in place, including temperature checks and contact tracing via QR codes that people would have to scan with their smartphones, he said. “We call on fans to comply with the regulations at ballparks,” Tsai said.
