Today, Copley Square features an elaborate, intricately designed fountain with vertical elements that reflect the tower of Old South Church, so it connects Copley Square to its architectural surroundings beautifully. About 15 years ago, the city presided over creation of the Fort Point 100 Acres Master Plan, which legally set the height and density of new construction with a neighborhood parks network.
