Suspects are dead. [ gunfire ] reporter witnesses say the shootout looked and sounded like a war zone. It was over 100 shots. The back window had the gun out shooting at the police. Reporter it began when three suspects left the bank of the west in stockton with guns to the heads of three female hostages. Jose maldonado witnessed the horror. Three guys had three guns and three hostages and they had the guns to the hostagess heads. They were petrified. Their faces were white, they were just so scared. Reporter the robbers stole a Bank Employees suv making one of the female hostages drive. The pursuit spotted on several Traffic Cameras along the way. Homes riddled with flying bullets along with police cars and the suv. During the entire pursuit, Police Officers were constantly fired upon by the assailants with highpowered Assault Rifles. And the man seen grabbing her on Surveillance Video sunday night is under arrest. Last night carlesha freelandgaithers family left a maryland hospital where she was treated for unspecified injuries. Shes said to be in good condition. She was rescued in a baltimore suburb. As kris van cleave reports, her family is relieved and grateful. Im taking my baby home, thank you. She thanked the public for the happy ending to her daughters nightmare. Her daughter was found wednesday, three days after her apparent abduction was captured. Her abductor has been arrested.
