p.m. eastern. top of the hour. i m alisyn camerota. thank you so much for joining me. new this afternoon, 12 to 15-year-olds may soon be able to get a booster shot. the ceo of the fda is expected to approve that booster shot in just a matter of days. it could be as soon as monday. we re talking to cnn s elizabeth cohen. elizabeth, how soon can these 12 to 15-year-olds get boosted? alisyn, it looks like it could happen in just a couple of days, and we know how helpful it can be against omicron. let s take a look at what these numbers look like in the 12 to 15-year-old group. approximately 4 million children that age are at least six months past their second shot. that means once the fda gives the green light, they should be able to go out and get their boosters. then another 4.7 million more will be six months past their second shot soon or in the coming months, so they will, in the coming months, be able to get a booster. alisyn, really the most important number is, ....
ghislaine maxwell faced six counts in her federal trial in new york related to what prosecutors say worker efforts to groom and traffic underage girls to be sexually abused by her then close companion jeffrey epstein. she has pleaded not guilty to the six federal counts. sex trafficking of a minor, enticing a minor to travel to engage in criminal sexual activity, transporting a minor with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, and three counts of conspiracy. the charges all relate to testimony from four women who say that maxwell facilitated their sexual abuse and sometimes participated in it as well. more than a decade ago, as far back as 1994, when they were under 18. is 83 page jury instructions and plan, some of the more the mike women are more important and the others age at the time because of the specific allegations. ghislaine maxwell s defense bought the entire time to undermine the accuser s memories and motivations during cross-examination as well ....
