The Department of Surgery is recruiting for a new clinical leader to support the growth and development of its ambulatory programs and initiatives. The Medical Director for Ambulatory Operations will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care delivery and operational efficiency across the Department’s outpatient clinics, across the system.
“The goal of this position is to improve access to care, improve clinic efficiency and provider workflow, and support the continued growth of telemedicine in the outpatient setting,” said Department of Surgery Chair, Dr. Nita Ahuja.
Reporting to the Vice Chair of Clinical Operations, Dr Kimberly Davis, this role will need to collaborate with leaders across the Department, Yale New Haven Health System, and Yale Medicine to build integrated, patient-centered ambulatory care signatures, applicable to each of the Department’s specialties and delivery networks.
