SOUTH BEND, Ind.–You’ve seen the signs in store windows and in restaurants. Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.), has been talking about it on the U.S. House floor in Washington. The “Help Wanted” signs mean that some businesses are struggling to find enough people to the necessary jobs, and Walorski wants to help get people back to work.
She’s co-sponsoring a bill that would pay people to go back to work, rather than paying them to stay home, she says.
