Today spotlights the city in its week-long Reopening America series.
After showcasing the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Al Roker joined forces with Kevin Love of the Cleveland Cavaliers for a special feature Tuesday about the city s reopening.
Love said it has been great seeing life return to Cleveland with events like the NFL Draft as more people get vaccinated for COVID-19.

Ahead of his full trip to Northeast Ohio for
TODAY s Reopening America series, Al Roker made a surprise stop in Cleveland earlier this week to get acquainted with some of his new (and old) coworkers from WKYC.
The series, which kicks off Monday, May 10, will feature members of our 3News family along with Roker exploring the incredible sights and sounds that the C-L-E has to offer.

SOUTH BEND, Ind.–You’ve seen the signs in store windows and in restaurants. Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.), has been talking about it on the U.S. House floor in Washington. The “Help Wanted” signs mean that some businesses are struggling to find enough people to the necessary jobs, and Walorski wants to help get people back to work.
She’s co-sponsoring a bill that would pay people to go back to work, rather than paying them to stay home, she says.

You may not know but, we have a big screen tv in the PST studio, so we can monitor the news.we always like to keep you informed. This morning (Monday, April 12th) we noticed that the Today Show, specifically, Today Show hostess, Sheinelle Jones, is broadcasting from the City of Brotherly Love. How cool. She kicked off a Today Show series called, Reopening America, traveling from city to city, featuring the people, places, and things that bring our country’s cities back to life,” Jones said in an article in The Philadelphia Inquirer. Philly is the first stop in the series.
