Good news, the heat advisories and the heat warnings, theyre gone. They expired 9 00 tonight. All the maps that showed you the yellows and reds, the colors are off the maps because those warnings are no longer in effect. Thats a good sign well be cooling things off in to your monday. We are going to have a delta breeze in the next couple of days but in the Santa Cruz Mountains over classed calm at 74, a break from 106 on saturday. I believe anything over the weekend, i believe anything including San Franciscos all time high of 106. 103 also one of two, yesterday was only 84 and today will only be 74, the average is 70, tropical clouds are working their way up, so very muggy and humid today with most of the shower activity south but maybe santa clara mounted belly down to monterey. 60s and 70s temperatures are warm due to the cloud coverage and the extreme heat yet to cool off these are really warm about ready to start warming up again but the trend is cooling down a little bit the majority of this cloud coverage very close but we will get a little bit out. 70s and 80s and 90s as well. 7 02 and sal tells us on this holiday the traffic is . At the beach early saturday and ran into a friend who said he moved in with his folks because it was so hot at his house, temporary move back in. Also my wife, who is this the Restaurant Business said it was so busy last friday and saturday because people do not want to cook in the heat. We did something we never do, we went out to eat and had ice cream friday, saturday and sunday. We had some nice friends bring us food. I hope you had a great weekend. Many here packed up and prepared to leave. Just in case increasing winds started blowing trouble toward their home. You hate to see the house go up. But its just a house. And were okay. That humidity, its almost worse but its getting there slowly for some. Moving west as 16 Miles Per Hour as a cat 5 Hurricane Harvey. Strongest ever in the caribbeans. Tracker taking right over puerto rico. Most of the models taking it into southeast bahamas and up the atlantic side on the florida coast could be even actually offshore and moving inland around South Carolina and georgia on monday morning. Again, that could zig instead of zag. Thats the consensus. This trough continues to bring in the tropical air. We are cooler on these temps. Yesterday a lot of upper 60s, 70s, now, a few low to mid50s for most. Some fog there. So cooler coast. But the low will continue to funnel in the clouds over the next couple of days.
