Dear friends and RSR readers: I must ask your kind forgiveness in my being absent for so long, but hope and trust you do understand that in addition to my currently working on three books and teaching classes at a local (Miami) fine and fully accredited university, I am involved with numerous local and statewide history projects and initiatives but want to assure you all that I will work diligently to improve my time performance. Miami’s 125th anniversary is coming up in July and I am pleased to share a piece which I re-wrote for a fellow who is doing a yeoman’s job in preparing for said anniversary.
