LONG HILL TWP. - The season was made a little brighter, both literally and figuratively, thanks to the parks and recreation department’s inaugural holiday house decorating contest.
The recreation department, partnering with the Long Hill Chamber of Commerce, invited residents and businesses to put their holiday spirit on full display through outdoor decorations.
Santa Claus, aka Long Hill Fire Prevention Official Don Huber, took a break from his pre-Christmas preparations Tuesday night, Dec. 22, to offer early presents and congratulations to this year’s winners. Visiting each location, Santa was joined in the merry motorcade by Recreation Director Lisa Scanlon, recreation assistant Danielle McLeer and Chamber of Commerce President Michelle Cavett. ....
