AUSTINTOWN A township man will appear Jan. 27 before Judge Scott Hunter following his arrest on a charge of domestic violence threat.
Austintown officers were called to 1633 Moorefield Road about 9 p.m. Monday and were greeted by two children, who told them to run upstairs. There, officers found Steven Moses, 33, of Austintown, fighting with another teenager and a woman, according to a report.
The report indicates the bedroom was destroyed with a dresser knocked over, the contents spilled and holes in it. There was also a hole in the wall and a shattered television on the floor.
Moses, who police noted was intoxicated, said he confronted the woman about cheating and was jumped by other family members. The woman, however, said Moses took her phone and became angry about text messages. While arguing, he punched a hole in the wall.
