year has been forest fires and each trip i say this is the worst fire i ve seen. and now we re here today, and this is the worst fire i have seen. president trump did call me just a few minutes ago, and he s pledged the full resources of the federal government. neither of them wanted to comment on criticism from the president over the weekend blaming forest management for the fire. governor brown did sign an executive order today that will accelerate the delivery of various state services to those displaced by the fires. now here are the latest numbers on the fire line. this is about to change, though, because we re waiting for that news conference. we have 135,000 acres burned. crews have 35% containment. 7,500 homes destroyed. 48 people confirmed dead. again, this news conference is just about to start. let s listen in. this is the evening update for the camp fire, november 14th, 2018, 18:01, or 6:01 p.m. i m going to start out with the current acreage is at 138,000

miles per hour knocked trees into houses and power lines into streets. nearly 275,000 homes and businesses lost power. it was a deadly storm last evening in new hampshire, and vladimir duthiers has that. reporter: it was just before 6:00 p.m. when 60-mile-per-hour wind tore through the lancaster, new hampshire, faire grounds just after the start of the walker brothers circus. james sampson and savannah turgeon were looking forward to taking their three-year-old daughter samantha for an evening out. you know, we went to a circus. it s supposed to be family fun. reporter: but what happened next was anything but fun. the sides of the tent started to flap, and them it kind of blew pretty hard. reporter: suddenly tent polls came crashing down. the nearly 100 spectators ran for the exits. i didn t know i was knocked out. i thought i stayed conscious but when i looked and i seep her and she was just looking up at me and had blood all over her, and i didn t realize it was
