Steve Gehrtz, co-founder and principal construction manager of Gehrtz Construction Services, agreed to shave his mustache if the Moorhead Legacy Education Foundation’s Food for Thought Program raised at least $100. Additionally, he also pledged to stay bare-faced one extra day for every $100 donated. On the morning of Friday, Feb. 12, Gehrtz, members of the Moorhead Legacy Education Foundation, and a couple of employees from Gehrtz s construction company gathered at the Deluxe Barber Shop in Moorhead to bear witness to Gehrtz s haircut and ensure he followed through and shaved his mustache. ....
