We look at the wind model that tells you everything, after midnight things cool off and you see at 2 am they start to fire up, it is not as aggressive on the central and south bay as it was last night. Mostly in the Northeast Quadrant and by 9 am it is gone. Some really positive news, we are not out of the woods on this thing but if we can get through noon tomorrow with what we are seeing outside now with some of the current wind speeds i am feeling good. This is my least favorite time of the year. There is nothing good, there is nothing good, unless you get rain or a big time cooling trend. Tomorrow looks a little better. Today looks like a hot day. I cannot get around it. There are so many fires. I put the arrow on the Santa Cruz Mountains and the san mateo fire. It is being picked up on satellite. There are high clouds to the north. It is going to be one of those days. I will focus on this one first. It is not good. Everything is an east wind or a northwind. Temperatures are in the 60s and 70s.
