Almost 50 of the UK’s biggest employers are planning a hybrid model of working, with staff spending only part of their week in the office – and working from home for the rest. Most of them say staff would be encouraged to work from home two to three days a week once all the lockdown restrictions are lifted.
Other research has repeatedly found widespread enthusiasm for greater flexibility. Many employees have embraced the opportunity for work-life balance, which helps them juggle their job with caring responsibilities or a “side hustle”.
