house floor as members prepare to vote on a contempt of congress referral against former white house chief of staff mark meadows. as gloria mentioned before the break, sternt of so many story lines in the january 6th narrative. they are expected to vote in about 10 or 15 minutes. as you might imagine, that is only our best estimate. these things tend to change. first, i want you to hear this. it is an interview i did just before air time with someone who testified today in front of the committee. he is dustin stockton, one of the organizers of the january 6th roolly on the ellipse washington preceding the capitol attack. i spoke with him and josh nash, his attorney. so, dustin, you were subpoenaed by the january 6th committee. just to be clear, today when you showed up, did you show up at the capitol because you wanted to help the committee get to the bottom of the events surrounding
outside the family home the weekend of september 10. i thought it was just, again, a normal, they were going for a walk kind of, you know, thing. so never thought anything about it. reporter: it s the same weekend petito s family report her as missing on september 11th. the laundries refuse to cooperate with authorities. whatever you can do to make sure my daughter comes home, i m asking for that help. reporter: days later laundrie disappears. his parents tell authorities their son left for the carlton reserve on september 14th. that evening authorities execute a search warrant and the couple s van and recover an sternt hard drive. it wasn t until four days later september 18 the authorities began a massive search for carlton for laundrie. human remains are found in a remote location near grand teton national park. they confirm the remains found were those of gabby petito. ruled a homicide. brian laundrie has not been named a suspect nor has he been
notice the sternt of the storm there s no thunderstorms at all. do expect the storms to be significantly weaker with a new advisory coming out shortly. the last advisory, this one as we went through 11:00, still had 60-mile-per-hour winds, probably dropping down to 50 or 45-mile-per-hour winds. again, it s all about potential. once the storm gets off of cuba, it s going to have a lot of warm water to deal with over the next 72 hours. if it does take the expected path, it s over the warm waters of the keys and florida straits, then over very, very warm water from key west to north florida and the upper level winds are favorable for development, really nothing tells us why it wouldn t strengthen at that time. that s why the next 24 hours are critical. if it stays weak, all the much of better than the folks in the northern gulf. it will still intensify but maybe it will go from a tropical storm to a category 1. if it becomes a hurricane earlier than expected before sunday afternoon or eve
