Just like other professions for farmers, growing and raising our food means improving. It means discovering ways to do things better and finding solutions to complex problems. Farmers make decisions every day that advance their methods for raising animals and growing crops. Innovation on the farm such as self-steering equipment, field mapping drones, and animal health monitors means less environmental impacts, safer food and a healthier world. In Illinois, farmers use the latest in science and technology to advance the ways they grow and raise food that is better for you and our world.
