A SANDOWN man has been jailed for nine months after brandishing a cut throat razor and injuring a six year old boy. The child was trying to protect his mother from an attack by pensioner, Stephen Douglas White, the Isle of Wight Crown Court heard yesterday (Friday). White, 67, of George Street, admitted inflicting actual bodily harm against the boy by cutting his finger, assaulting a woman by beating, causing criminal damage and possessing a weapon, namely a stun gun, on January 24. He was also in breach of a conditional discharge for an offence of battery. Police and an ambulance were called to an address in Sandown following a report of violence.
