Our leaders could learn from Macron
Thank you Emmanuel Macron. The French president showed courage that is lacking here in North America among our leaders. He mandated vaccine passports for people to enter public spaces such as cinemas, restaurants, bars, sporting and music events. Macron stated that it is time now for the unvaccinated to stay home.
Hopefully, here we will wake up and follow suit. Vaccines have been mandatory in public schools for decades and yet we won’t mandate COVID vaccines? Few post-secondary schools have mandated vaccines. Employers can legally mandate vaccination but don’t. Not even for health care workers. ....

I was disappointed to read about the large number of Londoners lobbying city council to eliminate planned sidewalks on their street. Road allowances for most of the city are 20 metres so stand in the middle of your street and measure 10 metres from the centre and you will see most of your front lawn is actually city property. It belongs to all citizens of London. Maps defining road allowances are on London.ca
