Price, the Alameda County board of supervisors have the option of choosing a special election this summer or to put the issue on the november ballot. They voted tonight to hold that recall election during the general election on november. 5th, nearly 100 people showed up for Public Comment ahead of the supervisors. Vote today. Prices opponents pushed for a special election in august or september or arguing the Public Safety is at risk. The longer she remains d a price and her supporters, however, wanted to wait until november to avoid any extra cost to taxpayers. Prosecutors Alliance Action is among prices supporters. Its executive director issued a statement saying in part, quote, we are glad that today the board of supervisors decided to do the right thing and save taxpayers millions by putting the recall election on the november ballot. This will ensure the most voters possible will have their voice heard in this important decision about the future of Public Safety in the county. Da
