The Supreme Court on Friday dismissed a plea seeking to conduct a Special Stray Round of counselling to allow the candidates to contest for the vacant seats which are available after the conduct of the stray vacancy round of All India Quota (AIQ).
A bench of Justices M.R. Shah and Aniruddha Bose said there cannot be any compromise with the quality of medical education which will affect public health.
