　　张华添1968年出生，晋江市内坑镇黎山村人。据张华添回忆，今年5月10日12时许，他吃完午饭后外出散步，经过黎山村张坑自然村大桥坝附近时，看到在“人民公社大井”内有一不明红色物体漂浮在水面上。他沿着岸边步行道小跑50多米上前查看，发现是一名妇女落水。该妇女在水里双手张开，没有动弹。见此情况，张华添立即拨打同村村民张荣孟的电话请求帮忙。
　　这口圆形大井是早年农业灌溉用的水井，直径约有4米，水井与外面的水塘通过石拱桥相连。“落水点距离岸边约有两米落差。”张华添说，他搜寻四周，发现旁边水塘里有一块黑色泡沫板，便马上跑过去，翻过围栏，解开绑在台阶上的绳子，跳上泡沫板，拿起岸边的一根竹竿，迅速朝落水妇女划去。
