In the past year weve experienced startling things about how we need to reinforce the importance of civics and civics understanding in american society. Its a National Security imperative. Were really grateful that today we have were privileged to have the director of the fbi, christopher wray, with us. I will not, because time is limited, so im just going to be very brief to say how grateful we are. Hes devoted his lifetime to Law Enforcement and public service. He has had the opportunity to be in the private sector. But we keep pulling him back. And its because every time he is in public life, were all benefiting from it. You will all take a look at his resume yourself, but i dont want to take any more time. She got her start in National Security as a lawyer. And she got her law degree from georgetown law, as did sandra day oconnor. So they are well represented here.
