CANTON - Canton police have found some of the lacrosse shorts stolen last week.
A box of uniforms for the Stark County Catholic Schools lacrosse team were removed from a coach s vehicle April 30.
The box contained 40 pairs of shorts for third- through eighth-grade teams.
CANTON - Canton Police have been notified after a thief stole a box of uniforms for the Stark County Catholic Schools lacrosse team.
Someone swiped 40 pairs of shorts for third- through eighth-grade teams composed of local Stark County Catholic Schools and Canton College Preparatory Academy athletes.
The theft occurred Friday morning around 2:20 a.m. in the 200 block of Poplar Ave. NW.
What happened?
The thief can be seen on video opening the driver s side door of a coach’s vehicle, looking through the box of uniforms then taking off with it.
Local sports resale retail stores have been contacted and asked to call police if anyone attempts to cash in on the stolen uniforms. The shorts are valued nearly $40 per pair, but were purchased on sale.
