The Union Cabinet has increased Dearness allowance (DA) of the Central Government Employees by 4% taking it effectively at 38 per cent from 34 per cent.
As per fresh reports, the Central government employees should not lose hope on getting the outstanding DA arrears in their account of the last 18 months i.e, from January 2020 to June 2021.
7th pay commission latest update 2022: It is expected that a one-time settlement of 18 months DA arrears will also crop up during a meeting scheduled soon.
