Posted on A suspected teenage drug dealer has been arrested on his 18th birthday in Bury St Edmunds after allegedly being found in possession of class A drugs. Officers patrolling in Tollgate Lane yesterday evening, 5th May, spotted a man acting suspiciously before fleeing from police on foot. Writing on the St Edmundsbury Police official Twitter a spokesperson said “One male arrested for Possession with Intent to Supply Class A on Tollgate Lane tonight. Male seen acting suspiciously before running from Police. Luckily one officer saw the male discard an object which turned out to be three large wraps of Class A.

St Edmundsbury Police said on Twitter that the incident happened in the town on Tuesday. One officer was allegedly headbutted in the face, while another was bitten on the arm - causing the skin to break. Two officers from #NRT3 were assaulted today in #BSE. One officer was head butted to the face and the other was bitten on the arm causing the skin to break. The A143 at Wattisfield is currently blocked after a collision - Credit: Google Maps The A143 has reopened in both directions at Wattisfield following a collision. Officers were called at around 7.20pm to the village following a collision between two cars. A spokesman for Suffolk police had warned that the road may remain closed for some time while the cars were recovered. The East of England Ambulance Service attended the scene but it s not clear if anyone was injured. St Edmundsbury Police warned drivers on Twitter to find an alternative route.
