Next up: Was there one restaurant in particular that you felt really stepped up for your local community? How did they do so? Serena Maria Daniels, Founder and Editor, Tostada Magazine: Saffron De Twah definitely stepped up this year. Chef Omar was among the very first to see that doing business as usual, trying to reconfigure as a takeout or delivery restaurant was not going to work. He’s provided probably thousands and thousands of meals to communities throughout the year and he continues to do so during the holidays. I expect ....
That really that, you know, goes into months the politics of it are going to be very difficult for the president. he s got a split base. he s got a bis on the one hand that s the business community, that s sort of rooting for mary ibarra, corporate efficiencies. all the rest of that. trump has held himself as the republican who believes the republican party ought to be a workers party. one of his first acts as president was rescuing the carrier plant. he intervened with lockheed. thinking of moving out of pennsylvania. don t be surprised if this carries on, if trump is going to use all the power of the presidency to strong arm gm, at least through the election, to keep the jobs in those states. the president doing what the president is inclined to do in situations like this, the president tweeting, responding to the situation with a tweet that reads in part here we go ....
