The company is raising the price for most customers of its Spectrum TV Silver and TV Gold plans by $8 a month starting with next month’s bills. Customers with the TV Select plan will see a $3 increase. In addition, Spectrum is raising the equipment charge for its cable boxes, also known as receivers, by $1. They now cost $7.99 a month. Its broadcast TV surcharge, the fee it adds to bills for the cost of the charges it pays to local over-the-air broadcast stations for the rights to carry their programming, is going up $1.54. The surcharge now stands at $16.45, so it will be rising to $17.99. ....
