The annual Warren County Polar Plunge is one week from today. Organizer Randy Spurr tells KNIA News participants can participate in many different ways even if they don’t wish to take the plunge, and making a team-theme can also be a good way to make it a fun event. Spurr also said sack lunches will be provided by Hy-Vee rather than the normal post-plunge banquet. The Warren County Polar Plunge is set for April 17th at Lake Ahquabi beginning at noon. Participants can register at the Special Olympics Iowa Polar Plunge website.
