Police were asking for a warrant to charge wanatee with 2nd degree murder. Agagn, just confirird moments ago, police say they y have h h in custody nono authorities s y they were called out to the 1900 block of west 1st street in sioux city. Just after 2 this morning. The victim was taken to Mercy Medical center by a private party before officers arrived. He was treated for several stab wounds but died due to his injuries. Authorities say they believe that wantatee knew the victim and that this was not a random crime. Abc9 has learned that wantatee was currently out on bond for an assault in which he brandished a machete in a walmart parking lot.
