The victim was taken to Mercy Medical center by a private party before officers arrived. He was treated for several stab wounds but died due to his injuries. Authorities say they believe that wantatee knew the victim and that this was not a random crime. Abc9 has learned that wantatee was currently out on bond for an assault in which he brandished a machete in a walmart parking lot. A bench warrent wawaissued for his this month after he failed to appear in courur again.
