Reporter in spite of the heavy rain, down pouring at times, more than 100 High School Students stood for an hour in a bus stop across the street here in palo alto. They chanted and persuaded drivers to honk their horns in support of gun control and a ban on assault weapons like the ar 15 which was used to kill 17 people at Stoneman Douglas in florida. Enough is enough. It could have been any school and it is not necessarily going to be a school but any place. He said he didnt hear anything and slept through the apparent gunfire. Just after midnight two people were told were shot. One was taken to the hospital. To rain in pittsburg, its raining in hayward. We are going to have more rain rolling from north to south and covering much of the bay area as the morning goes along. Right now as we get a look at the radar where you see the greens, light rain, yellows and the reds show where the most intense rain a pouring right now. St just south of novato and also vallejo right now. Some really wet roads and also in parts of San Francisco. Bay view district, some heavy rain also around daly city, east bay seeing light rain at this point as it continues to move off towards the south and east, but we will see the radar filling in as we go through the day.
