Well, another terrific summer is rapidly coming to an end here in Golden. Labor Day weekend is on the horizon, and things will be kicking into autumn mode from that point on until the Christmas season begins.
Drive-thrus require huge amounts of asphalt and impact air quality, with motorists spewing emissions as they inch forward for a crispy chicken sandwich, bank withdrawal or venti latte. The lines are unsightly and back up into traffic, causing problems. Might it be better if there were fewer such scenes?
